Oregon Trail

Here are some differences between traveling now and during the Oregon Trail times.#1, Right now we have gas stations we can stop at, they did not have anywhere to stop and resupply there resources.#2, We have vehicles to get us places faster. They had wagons, the wagons helped pull heavy objects but it did not go as fast, and they had to take brakes every few miles. If they had Vehicles back then, they would get to their destination in a few days. #3, One of the biggest differences is shelter. The weather killed hundreds of people during the Oregon Trail. Our vehicles have air conditioner, sealed doors, and a windshield.

Here are some differences that effect present time. #1, we have to pay taxes on our vehicle. #2, we have to pay for gas. #3, there is a more likely chance of dying of wrecks. Those are some of the differences between traveling now and traveling in the Oregon Trail times.
